課題内容

人類社会は現在、数多くの地球環境問題に直面していますが、大半は解決に至っていません。国際社会は、問題解決のために国際条約を締結してきました。ここでは気候変動を事例として取り上げ、「国際条約って何か書いてあるの？」「実効性はどうやって測るの？」「国際条約以外に問題解決する方法は？」等について、話し合い理解を深めます。

スマートヘルスやフェムテックを題材に、最新のデジタル技術が私たちの健康や社会に与える影響を学び、企業訪問や討議を通じて未来の健康づくりのあり方を考える集中プログラムです。 

３．Co-Designing Urban Futures: Demographics, Sustainability, and Planning Scenarios　 / Language: English　（理科・文科）

Introduction: 

This hands-on course invites students to explore the intersections of changes in the number and age of people (demographics), how to protect the environment and use resources wisely (sustainability), and how we can organize our neighborhoods in shaping living environments of tomorrow (urban planning). Through a blend of interactive lectures, fun team activities, and scenario building using your imagination, we will tackle real-world challenges from multiple perspectives.
The course provides a unique opportunity to develop critical thinking and practical team working skills in co-designing our desired future. Students will be introduced to global demographic trends, principles of sustainability science, and innovative approaches to inclusive urban planning. Over three engaging days, you will work in small groups to plan your own desired scenarios.
By the end of the course, you will understand how working together and using knowledge from different fields can help build better living environments.

４．複合的危機って何だろう？：気候変動対策と資源利用から学ぶ　(理科・文科）

課題内容

国連環境計画が、地球的危機としての”the triple planetary crisis” (気候変動、自然・生物多様性喪失、汚染）を指摘しているように、私たち人類は、複合的危機に直面していると言われています。本プログラムでは、気候変動対策（緩和策あるいは適応策）を対象に、対策に係わる資源利用を通じた他の環境問題や社会問題などへの副次的影響（トレードオフ・シナジー）を考えます。文献検索と共にワークショップ形式で関係性の整理と可視化に取り組むことで、環境問題や関連する複合的危機への理解を深めることを目的とします。
